Oddly enough, the churches in my neighborhood haven't been doing so well. One burned down. Four have gone out of business entirely. Another one is still owned by the the Episcopal church but is essentially an administrative building now. We've got a nice, now, liberal church called "The Village Church" which replaced some theofascist right-wing church.
We've got two New Age stores in my neighborhood now! Yay!
Does the "anyone home" refer to God???? What denomination is this church?????
ReplyDeleteI couldn't remember the denomination so I had to look up the church by the location. It's Methodist.
ReplyDeleteYou have given me much to ponder, San. We find ourselves looking outside ourselves? We are lazy and call instead of going and finding out? Hmmmmm....
It's nice, for once, to have a church sign that invites thinking.
I still keep wondering if there's a typo there we're missing.
