No Problem

A lesson on the journey to peace: I am watching for the moments when I make a problem out of a problem.

Today, I observed that I am wanting someone to quit being a victim of the medical system. I want her to ask questions and let go of the belief she has to, no matter what, do what the doctor says.

As I think about this, I know that she and I are both doing our dances:
  • I want her to be different.
  • She mostly knows the life of non-questioning.

I've worn a groove in the dance floor by doing this dance too long. Time to sit back and enjoy the performance.

I can understand about not wanting to be a victim of the medical system. That's why I ttry to live a pretty healthy life. Your average hospital is a mechanized death machine to be avoided at all costs.

  3. I think that at times we get so involved in the dance that we no longer hear the music and forget what the rhythm is. My congratulations to you, dear Carol, for walking off the dance floor.
