I think that FB has affected my blogging, too. Even though I rarely post there, I get computered out keeping up with everything that comes my way. Then I no longer have the energy for blogging. Plus, my life is just... boring.
Your question of "do I need to?" is a good one. I think I'm getting more quantity and less quality out of Facebook. I think it's time for a little more balance in my life.
I have a hunch that I'll be back pretty soon. We have a special weekend planned for my parents and I'll probably want to write about for later reminiscing.
Beyyer not be terminal or I'll immitate Dr. House, grab a motorcycle and speed across country to Denver to get you blogging. (I wonder if there is a way to avoid the flatness of Kansas?)
Carol: I hope you have a good special weekend, then. I'll be happy to read what you have to say about it. And if Nick rides to Denver, I'm hopping a ride. But the flatness of Kansas made me laugh.
One summer I drove 15,000 miles on vacation with Goodnight and the only state in which I had to pull over and take a nap in the middle of the afternoon because i was exhausted from boredom . . . was Kansas!
eh, sometimes we all need a break from the blogs. see you when you are ready to come back..
ReplyDeleteMy blogging this year is quite a bit less frequent - I blame it on FB.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for all your kind thoughts lately - you are appreciated!
Er, Lilith,
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime... I hope you find the liquid sustenance you're looking for!

Still holding your family in my thoughts...
I'm with you on the antibloggeritis too!
ReplyDeleteFB sucked me in a bit too but it's exhausting trying to keep up ... and really, do I need to?

ReplyDeleteNick,
ReplyDeleteIf I pretend it's terminal will you ride a motorcycle to Colorado? It would be worth it! :-)

Nick: Aaaah Dr House! Still can't believe that the lovely Hugh Laurie does such an amazing American accent - well I'm assuming it's amazing!
ReplyDeleteAs for the blogging ... I'm on a blogcation too.
