For now, I offer a hodgepodge of Happy photos.
My hair. There are days when I think the untameable cowlick on my forehead is a curse, but mostly I am grateful for a head of hair that keeps me warm in winter and sunburn-free (at least on my head and neck) in summer.
Me and the mister (ha! I love that! Can just see us out there with our corn cob pipes and our spittoons) sit out in these chairs and watch the goins on around these here parts.
It used to be that all you had to do to create a happy day for me was to give me a bunch of daisies. As I have gotten older, I still feel happy when I see them, but nowadays, I feel happy when I see any flower. Or tree. Or bee. Or creek. Or...
Ah the Cowlick Club! Miss Dancing and Little Man Dancing are members too!
ReplyDeleteThere are some clubs we choose to join and others that we get thrown into. I'm glad to have Miss Dancing and Little Man Dancing as co-members in this illustrious club that wasn't of our choosing!
ReplyDeleteI love that I get to come here and check on your 'homework'. Daisies are a favorite around our house, too. I'm not in the cowlick club, but I understand that membership is not by choice.
ReplyDeleteGN has been faithfully taking her pictures. I gave her strict parameters: photos had to be of herself, within our house, or our yard. That's because she needed a paradigm shift about her image and/or 'home'. I give you no restrictions to your voluntary participation . . .
Hope you ahd the mister have a great weekend!
G.G., I am thinking of heading off in GN's direction, for a while at least. I KNOW that no one (including me) will want to see a summer's worth of photos of me. But I think that we'll all be seeing more of me than I would have imagined at the beginning of this project.
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking in on my homework!
I finally got here, Carol. You've been quite busy since my last visit.
ReplyDeleteHi Nick!
